BrainBox Studio was founded by Dave Isaacs. Dave started work as an assistant photographer in the fashion and advertising industry in London where he worked for a number of photographers including: Clive Boursnell, Derek Berwin and the legendary food photographer Paul Kemp. After studying design at Middlesex University he worked for over 20 years in the packaging industry as a graphic designer before taking the “big leap” and opening BrainBox. Today the studio specializes in Logo and Corporate Identity work and advises companies in advertising and branding.
Probably the most talked about buzz word of our time and definitely the most understood! You can pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for a specialist branding company to launch your brand or you can do it yourself (with a little help from BrainBox). Think of branding as a promise you make to your customer that he/she believes. Your logo, corporate identity and advertising should all be designed and implemented to strengthen the promise. Are you cheaper than the competition? Better? Faster? Tastier?
If you have an advantage over your competition, you can use branding to improve your market share or sell your product at a higher price. Once your company is successfully branded (You should always aim to brand a company and not the product) it’s easier to introduce a new product as the customer already believes your brand promise and is ready to try a new product or service from you.
BUT BEWARE! If you break your brand promise, you can quickly see your company lose market share. Branding built on an untrue promise will always eventually fail.
